Hi, completed the egyrtian prophecies, great game!! Now stuck on this!! I need to feed Mina to get her strength up, i've walked all around and picked up everything i could find but don't know what to do with any of it. I cant get into the wooden box and cant make a fire either!! please help!! thanks, Lou

Hi loula,
You know, you can find a lot of tips on the Walkthrough we put in the game.

Fire
Go back down to the beach. In a crevice, you will discover a spot where people used to
make fires. Near the spot, collect the sharp flint and the large sandstone just to the right.
Go to the beach, where you will come across the old boat wreck. Break the upright section of the
boat with the sandstone. Pick up the pieces: some dry wreck wood and a piece of rusty
metal.
You now have everything you need to make a fire. Open your inventory (press the “i” button
on the lower right) and combine the following items :
Rusty metal + Flint = Lighter.
Lighter + Amadou + Wreck wood = Ready-made fire.
[Combining Objects : drag and drop two items on each other. If possible, they will
combine. Objects needing more than two components will display in the combination bar,
where you can add other items to try and complete the combination.]
Place your "Ready-made fire" on the appropriate spot. The flames rise up
– a great moment in the life of a castaway! Now take the egg from the inventory and place it
on the fire. When the egg is cooked, you can eat it and add a few points to your life bar.

Hi I have enjoyed the game and need help at end of game. I currently inside Captain Nemos Room with the robot asking riddles to solve. Cant work out what to do. I have used your e-walkthrough for better enjoyment. It states you must point to the answer of the riddle. How does one do this on an iphone? My version only shows directional arrows around the room. Nothing to touch.

Also I do get very frustrated by the inventory scroll button. It requires a lot of effort to move screens.

You can't select answers to Nemo's riddles ? You have to touch the items around the room, find the right item for each riddle. :) For example, look around at the showcase, you will find some items.

I am at the windmill and need to give a piece of fruit to Jep to give to the other monkey. However, I had to use all my fruit-two oranges and the grapes- to fill Jep's life bar. How do I get more fruit? There are grapes right on a nearby wall, but I cannot retrieve any more. I tried coconut, lemons and even worms and fish and a pine nut, but nothing else seems to work. thanks, Salmongirl

Hi salmongirl,

Unfortunately, you have to reload your save file to the last checkpoint. In fact, you need at least one orange for the monkey.

Great game but I'm stuck in the cave cause the wicks I picked up earlier have suddenly disappeared. I've already got the shirt (and ripped it up to make the battery) and buried the body (didn't get the cut scene but found the pearl afterwards anyway). Also I'm trying to make glycerine and soap but I can't seem to do it with my currents inventory.

Is there a wick alternative or something? Why would I disappear? The chest were I found them is not there now too. Pls help!

Have you already made the oil lamp ?
You don't really need to have wicks (exept for the lamp and the dynamite, but for dynamite you have an alternative way).

Don't you use the walkthrough we put in the game ? this is not exactly like the pc version, you have to use a specific iPhone/iPod walkthrough).

No I haven't made the oil lamp or the dynamite. I haven't made anything with them as far as I know (hang on I think I used one of them as a combustible to start a fire a long time ago).

Yes I have used the walkthrough (on the iphone) but you'll notice inside it it doesnt say anything about (a) getting more wicks or wicks disappearing and (b) nothing about how to make the ingredients to make soap (other walkthroughs say I need Gylerine and nitric acid- no idea about where these are yet).

I just need a/some wicks so I can explore the cave !
