I'm having the same prob. Had charcoal at the end of part one, none in part 2. Let's me use the bible as the paper. Then go towards the edge of the cliff looking for wood and he says 'ah' and screen turns to the tree stump I put the rope on earlier. Nothing in my inventory helps. Am I missing something?! Help, very frustrated!

Hi Venom, Part 2 doesn't recover the saves of your Part 1, you begin it with only the required objects. So it's normal that you don't have your charcoal.

I love Part 1 and haven't played part 2 yet, but wondered why you chose to publish it in parts. Waiting is hard. And having to regather old items, too is rough. But damn, what a great game.

Why 3 parts ? very simple, the game would be too heavy if it was complete. Besides it makes possible to test the game for only 1$.

That is true: the price is killer and certainly a good buy at the price. Path of the Dragon is certainly (of your adventure games), the most tightly created, though I missed a few of the small details from the PC games.

Yes, I checked Martha's house and that barn, got the power on, did the testing, then I went to the cemetery and talked to the grave digger. I picked up a spade but when I try to use it Arno says that he has to know who is burried here. I press on the tombstone and a name appears but Arno still won't dig? Also on the cemetery I went to the crypt and got the crucifix

To dig you must use the spade on the grave (not on the name, they are two touchable areas)
For Luana (the gypsy) you must :
Have opened the grave
Have found the bomb
Have found all the document in Janos' bedroom
Have spoiled the picture of Maria

I'm having the same issue. I get a repeated message to examine the documents carefully each time I touch one of the 5 skulls.

EDIT: The problem was in the order in which I did things, first I had to check the tombstone and then open the grave. I passed that point and now I'm stuck again, but I don't mind. I noticed that part 3 seems to be harder than the first two parts, which is a good thing

You also need to first use the cylinder with the gramaphone in the inn's attic. After I did that, I was able to open the grave.

The Egyptian Prophecy looks sweet, and if I'm not mistaken, it's from the same studio as Dracula for PC (Kheops Studio), so I guess we can expect great story once again. I played both of Jules Vernes games, but I still prefer Dracula, it has amazing atmosphere. Nostradamus also looks nice, I'm really hoping that and Egypt will have awesome plots

In fact it's random :D
it's can be one of the seven symbol of the Path of the Dragon.

The number on the left is the number of black squares on the line
Each number on the top indicate how many black squares you must have on the column

Numbers on top of the column mean how much black spots are allowed in that column, eg 4 means that you can only place 4 black squares in that column. Same thing applies for rows

madam_octa, The Egyptian Prophcy is sweet, I can tell you that :) IMHO the story and atmosphere is not QUITE as good as Dracula, though way better then the Jules Verne games :) So we'll just have to wait until Anuman (the publisher) decides on the actual publishing strategy, as the game is almost completely ready.

You must put right symbols on each column :
The "first one" (no particular order, but for the help, we call him like that) is "the Mount of Offering" with the blood and the infinite symbol (the laid eight), and at its right (so your left when you are in front of it) it's the Peak of the Sacrifice with the inverted cross.... with the map of Turkey and the picture you found in the photo lab you can put the symbol correctly :
Fox Peak : Pentagram
Mount of the Punishment : X
Mount of the Purifying Fire : "Scale"
Mount of Death : "Pi"
Mount of the Dragon : "Psi" (trident)

You keep exploding, because there's a bomb on you room's door.
When you click on it, Arno said that it's some kind of mechanism. To stop it, you must use a thumb on the door (to fix the string) and then the knife ;)

After you put the tack on the door, use the knife on the marker next to the door (in the room). That will diffuse the bomb.

i know that i need to put one tack on the bomb, one on the door, and use the knife. my problem is that i have a box of thumbtacks and there seems to be an issue in using the box. is there a way that i can get individual tacks?

Here's the thing: I did open the tomb (that's how I found out about the horses bones) :(
When I click the marker with my oil can, I don't have time to use the lighter. A movie plays showing the priest lighting the oil and climbing into the tomb. Then I'm stuck in the tomb.

The number on the left is the number of black squares on the line
Each number on the top indicate how many black squares you must have on the column .

What column do you start with fir the gargoyles? I've tried every way I can think of & still nothing, It has gotten really frustrating at this point, even my husband tried & couldn't get it.

The first column is the one where you found the blood (it's the one on your right when you are in front of the hole).
If you want you can choose Load Game on the principal menu to reload just before this puzzle ;)

"the Mount of Offering" with the blood and the infinite symbol (the laid eight), and at its right (so your left when you are in front of it) it's the Peak of the Sacrifice with the inverted cross.... with the map of Turkey and the picture you found in the photo lab you can put the symbol correctly :

Mount of the Purifying Fire : "Scale"
Mount of Death : "Pi"

To catch the bowl, you have to find a spanner... Go to the cemetery, give your electric lamp to the digger ;)

First I want to say - what a great game! Well done guys :).

I'm stuck, but I'm not sure if it's a bug or if it's just me. I understand from reading the thread that I'm supposed to pick up the items that I find on Janos' body - the lighter, the documents and so on - but I can't seem to be able to do it. When I click on Janos in the coffin, I see the documents with Arno commenting on them, and when I click again I see four items appear on the right side of the screen - but when I click on the items, the screen just switches back to Janos and nothing appears in my inventory.

For Janos : It's not a bug, you can't pick up either the lighter or cigarettes. On the other side, you should have keys on your inventory now. You can read again the documents that Janos has stolen in your inventory, on the documents part.

I am at the very start of part 3. I have opened the safe and collected the items on the desk and around the body. I tried to leave but the narration said that I was forgetting something. Ok, can someone please help me? I am on part 3 and I went into the dispensery and got the power back on, went back answered the phone and now have to draw blood again. The problem is I can't get it to work. I have washed my hands and used the alchohol and cotton and put the chemical in the reservoir and put the turniquet on but when I go to put in the needle it just snaps back. I am stuck here please help. Also, is there any place I can get a free walkthrough? I have searched, but can't find anything.

That is the order I have been doing it in. Just went and tried again, but still when I try to use the needle it just pops back to the tray. Is this a bug in my game or am I missing something?

There's no bug reported on that puzzle, I've just test it again and it's work...
Perhaps you touch wrong, the cotton must change color when you dip it on the alcohol, then the arm change color when you disinfect it...

Hello Athena, it's three times when you are in the tunnel, so four times from the cave (with chains and cigarette) and you turn back to go forward three times...
Is it clear ? 'Cause it's a little hard to explain... When Arno said "i made a mistake" it means that you have made one step too far

You have to use the grain on the pigeon's feeder in the yard (in front of you when you get out Maria's room).
Then pigeons arrive and you can take a new filament and a letter on one of them ;).

I have literally spent the last 4 hours pushing ever arrow and button possible and i cant find anything else i need to do except go into the last room in the in but it keeps saying its close. If you have the golden cup, go back to the place you found it, and go forward (at your right when you look at the bomb), there, put the golden cup on the wall, and after the cartridge...

I finished the game. It was absolutely amazing! Beautiful job, extremely immersive, deliciously dark, and with awesome puzzles!

I'm not entirely sure I get the ending though, but that might be because I haven't played Parts 1 & 2 yet (I'm terrible, I know, but I'm going to buy the first two parts now). Would you mind explaining? Is the guy being interrogated Janos? And have he and Kruger become vampires?

La soluce (française comme anglaise n'est pas diffusée sur internet) par contre plusieurs personnes s'aident de la celle de la version pc (mais c'est souvent sujet à confusion, vu le nombre de différences entre l'iPhone/iPod/iPad et le PC)...
De plus nous sommes un studio, c'est à dire que nous codons le jeu, nous faisons les interfaces etc... mais c'est notre éditeur (en l'occurrence Anuman Interactive) qui est chargé de la communication et du support.
Ce forum n'est pas "officiel" pour le jeu, après c'est notre moyen à nous, de communiquer avec les joueurs ;)

Go to the hole. The one that Arno tells you is stuck. Go back out to the middle of the circle, and surrounding the hole are two pillars. The one on the right has an empty bottle of blood (814, first blood sample Arno gave Maria). This is the Pillar of Offering. Each pillar relates to one of the Mountains in your map of Turkey and one of the Seven Trials of the Path (I'll explain the trials after).

Change the symbol to infinity (sideways 8).

Go to the right. This is the Dragon Pillar. Its symbol is Psi, the trident. Keep going right.
Next is the Death Pillar; its symbol is Pi, the mathematical constant.
Next is the the Pillar of Purifying Fire. Its symbol is the ladder.
Next is the Punishment Pillar. Its symbol: the X.
After that is the pillar corresponding to Fox Peak. The symbol is the pentagram (you don't have to change this one as the pentagram is default).
Go right once more. You should be at the last pillar, the Pillar of Sacrifice. The symbol must be changed to the inverted cross.

Once you've done this, an animation of the hole opening up will be shown, and you can proceed down the well :)

Trial of each Pillar/Mountain (I'm not entirely sure about some of them, but to the best of my knowledge...):

Offering - Arno takes his own blood as a sample for Maria.
Sacrifice - Death of Stephan Luca, taking his chain and medal.
Fox - Figuring out the Turkey labyrinth (recall the fox running away after)
Punishment - Death of Irina, taking the syringe.
Purifying Fire - Arno setting fire to the church to get rid of the rats.
Death - Escaping the coffin with he horse bones using the coin Maria gave Arno.
Dragon - Blood baptism from Dracula the Dragon, not completed by Arno.

I got stuck on that for a bit, too. Turn around to face back where you came from, and look down. There should be a puzzle there with the gear you can tap on. Once you complete this puzzle, you can cross the hole without dying.

I'm playing this game with my iPod touch,
I entered in a hotel and a fat and old woman keep telling me i've got mail, but i can´t find it.
when I go upstairs There are two doors one at my left and one at my right. If I open the one at my right, something activates and explodes, then a skull begins laughing and I can't do anything else every time i touch the screen the explotion begins.

i tried putting the thumbtack in the door and use the knife but nothing happens.

You have to put a thumb on the door, then use the knife.
It's to deactivate the bomb that someone put on your door ;)
