Anno: Dawn of Discovery

Sorry if I freak a little, but aside from Blizzard games being ported to the iPhone, I love the Anno series.


The Anno franchise (known in the US previously as Dawn of Discovery) is making the move to the iPhone in a new time management game, Anno: Dawn of Discovery (known as Anno: The Harbor in Europe). Featuring several hours of gameplay, but built around quick pick up and play sessions, this should be interesting for time management fans on the iPhone. Anno: Dawn of Discovery will be available March 1st for $4.99.

I might get this. I haven't played a Economic Sim in years, but I remember the Anno series to be on of the better.

I am just curious though since they hat the term "time management" two times in their press release. And the sentence "but built around quick pick up and play sessions" sounds like it's not a real Anno game but just a mobile minigame whith a slapped on Anno name.

Does anybody know of a full fledged Sim a la Port Royale or Anno?

Holy crap, they've made a TIME MANAGEMENT game out of the Anno series. Talk about scrapping the series for the iPhone

Maybe we should "port" HoMM V :DD
Make a rat-race game where heroes run as fast as they can with a big fart button :D

And then big nice HOMM V banners in App Store, and people will chew and digest it ;)
