Wow, I just saw this now... shows where I hang out. Thank you everyone. I had 38,6 fever two days ago and am steadily getting better. I can walk and talk without pain now. Thinking coherently is almost back to normal (and thus sub-par). It must be all the nice get-wells I've been getting here. Cheers.

well I'm back - sort of. The cold/flu hasn't been kind to me today and just been out of sync all day.

@Ron I did try 2 tablespoons of Norton, but that bloatware just made me feel worse :)

You could just take one CD of OSX or Linux and be rid of Viruses.
