If you don't already have this one, go grab it (especially since it's free). I still have problems executing the spells sometimes, but it's a blast to play anyway. Oh, and did I mention that it's free?

I've had this for a while.
I can personally say that it's a great game once you get the hang of drawing out the spells and knowing which one to use.

Good to hear you're enjoying it - everyone else, it's going back to paid in about 12 hours so go go go go go!

The messing up casting gestures thing seems to be a bit of a divisive issue - when I was testing I totally took it for granted that you'd bollocks up a spell or two now and then, especially if you were rushing/under pressure. I thought it was part of the game. Opinions?

I can understanding messing up a time or two, but I've had games where I had to draw the lightening spell 4 or 5 times in a row before I got one to take (as an example). If the spells are going to be your main line of defense they should be easy enough that you can cast them pretty flawlessly most of the time.

Maybe abbreviating the lightning spell to two strokes would work. Maybe into the shape of a seven?

The other three I don't have problem with and they require only one or two flicks of the finger.

I've been playing this for the past few days! Love it! Thanks for the fun game. :) Haven't managed to kill all 100, always have 1 running away! LOL. Great game but somehow my lightning occasionally become ice instead!

Sorry to cross-promote (should probably start a new thread) but I was playing Robot Rampage last night, which is also an Origin8 game so I don't feel too bad. Anyway, the game is pretty cool, and if you're a fan of the old Rampage game I highly suggest checking it out. There are a few Rampage quirks I miss, but they do a good job with it anyway. Besides, it's always fun to destroy things!

This is arguably one of my favorite games from the past year and you cannot beat getting it for free. Maybe it is just me personally, but I have never had an issue getting any of the spells to work...

Glad you're enjoying it :) We put Robot Rampage on half price sale this week to make the most of our New and Noteworthy slot - hope you don't mind being down a buck.

The spell recognition thing is something that in house testing never flagged as an issue (in the final version anyway - you should have seen the original spell gestures ), but once the game was live there was a lot of feedback from sane-sounding people who found it a roadblock. Quite the head-scratcher. We've actually just submitted a bugfix update because someone who was ungodly good at Endless mode found a point where the monster spawns would break. So, if the game threw up on you at around level 85, that should be fixed soon! :)
