One of the simplest iPhone tricks is taking screenshots, but since it's not explained anywhere there might be still users who don't know how it's done.
Simply press the power and the home button simultaneously. The screen will flash and the screenshot will be saved into your camera roll.

This has proved very helpful in past game experiences. I took several screenshots of a certain level in Soosiz and pasted them together to see what steps
needed to be taken to get past the level.

Thankfully, this was one of the first tips I learned when i got my iPhone... but I know a few of my friends who were surprised when i showed them that you could take screenshots with their iphone!

I am always afraid to take screenshots when in-game, I dont know what the time delay between pressing the Power button and Home button, but I certainly do not want to close the app accidentally!

I think you click on the picture and it should have a trash can at the bottom.

Yes. Tap the picture and a little menu appears on the bottom. tap the trashcan to delete the picture. You can select multiple pictures in the thumbnail view and then delete them all at once.

Taking screenshots is incredibly important to me as I take a lot of photos for my TMA reviews and my own site. Unfortunately, these photos come at a price 'cause I usually end up either closing the app accidentally or dying in the middle of a perfectly good game! :P

And nothing beats having a handy app that is able to rotate your photos right on your iDevice too so that you can publish landscape captures in the right orientation.
