Car Jack Streets VS Payback: Breast-Wars’ Precedence Long Reach

preview-game-carjackstreets-img_002

In the tradition of GTA, Car Jack Streets (CJS) is a sandbox RPG littered with carnage, death, loads of nefarious opportunities and controversy. Developer, Tag Games, are not new to to the App Store nor mobile gaming, but this mercenary driving game will be their first big hype title to hit the iDevice download shelf. Even Payback maker, Apex Games have jumped the gun and released their own competitive, “welcome” to Tag Games – more details to follow. In any event, TouchMyApps is ready to parade some of the sights and sounds of CJS that are sure to draw attention.

Bass Fishing Mania in Review- Fishing Smack down

bassfishingmania1Bass Fishing Mania is another Fishing Sim from Player One Sports, which gave me a good indication this would be good for Fishing fans! I don’t fish in real life, 1993 was the last time I really went fishing with my then father-in-law and I only caught tiny little fish. He told my sister and I to throw the little guys back in the water. I wanted to catch bigger fish without the stinky smell and little did I know years later I could relive the fishing experience via technology.

Ouch! in Review – Masochistic Miniatures

review-game-ouch-ouch1

In my eyes, nothing is more satisfying than ragdoll physics games. Just the idea of being able to hurl something that abides by real life physics and gravity simply overwhelms me. While there has not been an application that satisfies my need for ragdoll torture as well as the flash game “Interactive Buddy”, Ouch! by Hondune Games, comes pretty darn close.

Cooking Mama in Review – Great little game for kids and teenagers!!

cookingmama1Cooking Mama really doesn’t need any introduction; it’s been one of the more popular games on the Nintendo platform, both the Wii and the NDS. However, there is problem – some “serious” gamers think that Nintendo consoles are really for kids due to the fact that that they lack violent games such as Gears of War. Hence I applaud Taito for porting Cooking Mama to the iPhone/ iPod Touch platform, because this way the game can be played by more gamers.

AirCoaster 3D in Review – Roller-coaster of Love

aircoaster3d_1Love it or hate it, AirCoaster 3D (Formerly known as AirCoaster Online) is a popular App. It is currently at number 42 on the top 100 list of paid Apps. It also is pretty even in reviews between people who love it and people who hate it. So, what is this App that seems to create division between the happy people (sarcasm) of the AppStore?

Virtual Villagers 2: The Lost Children in Review – Not for the ADD Prone

virtualvillagers2_1I had a puppy growing up. I have to admit that if it were not for my sisters’ constant attention and care for it, the puppy would have wasted away. (before PETA gets all haywire about this, the dog was very well cared for… by my sisters) Unfortunately for me, I quickly learned that I do not have the care of attention or the memory for Virtual Villagers 2. In a short while, the continually living populace of my village were facing stagnation, death, and decay. Despite my own failings, Virtual Villagers 2: The Lost Children is a faithful port of the original game with the same name.

Airport Mania: First Flight in Review – Very Addictive Strategic Game

airportmania1When I first looked at the description of Airport Mania: First Flight on iTunes, I knew I immediately wanted to buy it. This was because I loved the cute little planes and that the theme of the game was very interesting to me. I mean, yes, the game is about airports and how to best utilise the resources at that particular airport, but deep down it’s really a strategic game whereby the player has to fit the right pieces into the right place. This proved right when I actually finished this game; I haven’t finished a game in a long time.
