Australian App Store Sacked – Time-travelling Aussies get Sims3 First!

If you have been waiting for the iPhone implementation of the most successful PC game in history, then you will have to wait a bit longer — unless you live in Australia or have somehow syphoned off an Aussie account. As Australians travel time faster than those in North and South America, Europe, Africa and parts of Asia, we will leave it up to them to deliver some short clips, previews, reviews and happy face pictures as their Sims manage to nab the right one in the pub or at the library.

Car Jack Streets 1.1 Update – Bigger, Better and Blinger

The ever popular Car Jack Streets (CJS) has just gotten better with its first update and more promised to come. 1.1 brings heaps and heaps of improvements and accordind to TagGames, stability. Everyone who owns this game should update as soon as possible (and remember to restart your iDevice to eliminate OS memory errors). Anytime Pool in Review – Brunswick in my Pocket

Another company that has a similar reputation (although not quite as extensive) is EA. The two companies converge (I hope it is a Brunswick) on the iDevice platform in the shape of Anytime Pool. Flight Control in Review – Sitting in the Airport Just Got Interesting!

flightcontrol1I had originally grabbed Flight Control on a whim, something about the simplistic art style and the 99 cent price tag flipped my impulse switch. Before I even recognized what I was doing, the game installed on my iPod. Going in I had no expectations for the game, hell I barely even knew what it was about! After the initial loading screen you’re confronted with this simple question “Welcome Aboard! Would you like game sounds?” Without considering the ramifications of my actions I clicked the red “YES” button. The slightly upbeat elevator music transported me to a 1950’s airport terminal. I had become an Air Traffic Controller, not just any air traffic controller… I was the BEST.
