So what would happen if one day John Gore of Minigore (TMA Review) fame woke up and decided to go zombie hunting? I’m pretty sure you’d end up with Zombie Wonderland. With the whole “protect the building†scenario ripped right from the Evil Dead movies, and a main character whose witty comments could rival those of the master zombie slayer Ash himself, Zombie Wonderland is an amusing jaunt in the zombie killing genre that actually works quite well, despite not being a line drawing, dual stick wielding or 3D person perspective action game.
I have to confess I missed the original SimCity when it came out back in 1989. Thankfully, I didn’t miss SimCity 2000 and remember spending ages on it, watching my bustling city grow and prosper. Well, it seems I will have many more sleepless nights with my iPhone now that Electronic Arts has released SimCityâ„¢ Deluxe on the App Store.
Bloomies is a game which is clearly aimed at fans of FarmVille and similar titles. It’s a real time simulation game centred around a garden. You must plant some greenery of your choice and look after it as you would a real plant – water it and watch it grow. Cultivate them carefully and they’ll attract lots of bees and butterflies who’ll collect nectar for you. The nectar is your currency, which you’ll then use to purchase more plants, decorations, upgrades and bees until you’ve got a thriving garden which is the envy of your neighbours!

One of the more romantic professions in the navy, or at least what seems to be from the outside, is serving on a submarine. The thrill of sneaking up on enemy boats undetected and sending them to feed the fishes is second to none. And this was even more so in the time of WWII since the sonar technology was far from perfect and a single U-boat could literally sink whole fleets. Thanks to Silent Hunter Mobile, you can find out how it would be to control one yourself right from the comfort of your iPhone.
About a year ago, the announcement of Warpgate, an open world space fighting/trading game caught my attention. Being a fan of  the classic Privateer/X series, this seemed to be the answer to all of my prayers. Well, the long wait is finally over and having spent a considerable amount of time with the game, I can say – it was worth it! Feel free to discuss Warpgate in our forums.
It’s time to lay down the plastic tarps because those incontinent Sims are back in town. Actually, this time, they’re heading out of town and it is a rough-riding fun time. The Sims 3 World Adventures is bigger than its predecessor; there’s more to see, do, and loads of more sexies to pick up. If Sims 3 had you fishing and cooking for a good time, The Sims 3 World Adventures will have you chasing mummies in your time off and having a damn good time at it.
As a big dog lover, I was excited to get The Dog – Puppy Pets to review. I installed it to my iPhone and booted up. I was presented with five breeds of dog to choose from: Labrador, Beagle, Boxer, Yorkshire Terrier and German Shephard. I chose Labrador, named it and went on my way.
Remember the good ol’ days of old-school console gaming? Graphics existed to make the game funner, music existed to make gaming cuter, and all shaken together, it was pure bliss. Back then fussy RPG’s, fast racers, and stickly puzzlers alike adhered to the three pillars: visuals, sounduals, and playuals, but playuals most of all. Astro Ranch is nearly a full-on throwback to those days – it looks, sounds, and mostly, plays great and is as addictive as it is absurd. It is a quasi-RPG simulation about farming and friendship and is as fun as a barrel of montkeys (play it and you’ll see why this ain’t a splelling mistake). Please feel free to discuss this review of Astro Ranch in our forums.
Ah, the artistic person! Sometimes it seems they grow on trees. But until the artist becomes prominent enough for us common folk to know their name it is a long journey to the top. And for some this journey takes them to so-called artist communes or colonies – places where groups of artistic types hang out and try to create something great. Have you ever wondered what really goes on in there apart from the obvious sex, drugs and rock and roll? Thanks to I-play’s latest, Artist Colony, you can have the entire experience, but from the safety and relative drug-free confines of your own two hands. Feel free to discuss this review of Artist Colony in our forums.
