Alice In Wonderland – An Adventure Beyond The Mirror in Review – Up is down, left is right and the world is spinning round…
Alice in Wonderland is one m-m-maaaaad story. The adventures of a young girl in the mysterious world have been made into one of the best Disney cartoons and inspired millions of girls around the world to follow the white rabbit. The followup story, Alice Through the Looking Glass, is not as well known, though the recent Tim Burton adaptation certainly will fix this soon. And hot on the heels of the movie is, of course, a companion iPhone release – Alice In Wonderland – An Adventure Beyond The Mirror .
Dual-SIM iPhone 4? No, I’m not smoking crack!
While Apple’s competitors try their best to draw some attention from the Jesus phone by boasting features like replaceable batteries, microSD cards and support for dual-SIM cards, a small manufacturer decided to take things into their own hands. And no, I’m not talking about AirPhone NO. 4-esque knockoffs. usbfever has just released an iPhone 4 Dual Sim Adapter Case, which augments the already awesome capabilities of the iPhone 4 by adding support for 2 SIM cards! And even without the necessity to cut them down to microSIM size!
Is the iPod Nano or even the Shuffle going Touch?
Only a couple of days left until Apple’s Sept 1 event and the community is buzzing with rumours. The latest evidence, uncovered by AppleInsider, shows the possibility of a long-awaited (at least for me) update of the iPod Nano/Shuffle lineup, with a touchscreen interface making its debut on Apple’s smallest MP3 player to date.

Cannon Defense in Review – Paper cutouts have never been this aggressive
Back in my childhood, when all I had to entertain myself were toys and boatloads of imagination I used to love drawing up armies of creatures and playing out full-scale castle defence battles. Matchsticks would become arrows and marbles – cannon balls. With this awesome firepower I would defend my castle from the onslaught of aliens, ghosts, robots and demons. Apparently I wasn’t the only one stuck gifted with the glorious imagination. Introducing – Cannon Defence…
CHAOS RINGS in Review – It’s final; there’s no fantasy!
When Square Enix announced they were developing an iDevice RPG, I was thrilled. What else could I expect from the company behind the famous Final Fantasy series? Parts 8 and 9 of the franchise were some of the best games I’ve ever played and the platform is perfect for the genre, right? And when Chaos Rings finally came out at the whopping price of $12.99 (the most expensive RPG at the App Store to date), you can imagine my interest. Boy, was I in for a surprise!
Zombie Escape in Review – Flight Control, please advise… zombies everywhere!
The line-drawing game genre has exploded since Flight Control (TMA Review) came out. We’ve seen almost everything, from downright clones such as Space Dock (TMA Review) to innovative titles like Boom Brigade. Well, Chillingo might have hit paydirt again with the release of Zombie Escape – an original (and zombie-filled) look on the genre.
Patent proves Apple to go Empire on Jailbreaker’s assets?
It has onlybeen a few weeks since The Apple Empire lost the battle against the jailbreaking rebellion. The exhaust vent? The now-famous JailbreakMe.com and a load of crank-jailbreaked iDevices at Apple Stores. In clawing backs its losses, Apple has applied for a new patent that may become the Jailbreak community’s Battle of Hoth.
SurvivorX in Review – An eXtraordinary dual-stick shooter
The AppStore is teaming with dual-stick shooters of all kinds. In such a competitive market it’s quite difficult to get a sufficient foothold in the genre, especially with most titles at the rock bottom price of $0.99. Despite this ZENUXLAB have joined the ranks of indie teams reaching for the gold with the release of SurvivorX ambitiously dubbed “best dual stick arcade kill’em-all game”.
Azada in Review – A magical puzzle-solving adventure
Big Fish Games is one of the most prolific mobile publishers, best known for its range of excellent hidden object (HO) titles. Keeping this in mind it’s not much of a surprise that Azada has quite a bit of hiddenness in it. But this time, Big Fish Games decided to make things more interesting and throw in a LOT of other puzzles, making hidden objects only a part of the gameplay, rather than the backbone.
