Microsoft’s Windows 8 Consumer Preview was released on Wednesday morning, and within a day, it had more than a million downloads. The upcoming OS is a complete departure from the Windows as we all know, with a Metro-style interface that relies heavily on touch and gestures. So how does Windows 8 running on a tablet stack up to iOS on an iPad? Quite well it seems.
