With 2012 just around the corner, it’s highly possible that one of your New Year’s Resolution is to finally work on that once-prominent six pack and get in better shape. I know it’s one of mine! My biggest issue though is that I just can’t find the motivation to hit the gym on a consistent basis. I’ve tried a number of workout apps on the iPhone, but for one reason or another, I never stuck with any of them. And with lolo’s optional beat-sync technology, all the music added to the playlist will automatically match the intensity of your workout. So if you decide to bump up the intensity level at any given point (more reps, longer workout time), the tempo of the song being played will also pick up its beat. When done, your workout will be logged into the history section, where it’ll keep track of the day, the type of exercises, calories burned, and duration.
As of writing, I’ve completed 12 days of 8 min workouts over a 3 week period and I must say that I’ve been more than surprised by the results. My core is stronger, my (bad) back doesn’t bother me nearly as much and I’m even starting to see the outline of that 6 pack I thought had deserted me for good. Just don’t be fooled by the short workout sessions – they’re designed for maximum efficiency and output.

Haven’t tried them myself yet, but they’re definitely on my todo list.
