New iBook Randy the Daydreaming Dog Called A Graphical Masterpiece

Milwaukee, Wisconsin – Randy the Daydreaming Dog, a new ibook from Jan and Todd Graveline, was just called “a graphical masterpiece” in a 5-star review from Apps4Kids. The book, a whimsical tale of a curious dog who lets his imagination roam free while his best friend is at work, debuted today as the newest “Top 10 pick” on the popular review site.

Driving a race car, noon tea with a yak, swinging through the jungle, and dancing with a cupcake help Randy realize that time alone with your dreams can make for a very busy and fulfilling day. Each new daydream is delightfully illustrated and chocked full of animated surprises and sound effects.

According to Apps4Kids, “‘Randy the Daydreaming Dog’ is a graphical masterpiece! Stunning visuals! Production taken to perfection! Lovely story! If you don’t spend 2 bucks on the app, you are out of your mind. Just go ahead and get it!”

Geared toward preschoolers and kindergarten-age children, the book was developed by Jan and Todd Graveline, a husband and wife creative team who own a design agency in Milwaukee, Wis. This is their first e-book, which was published through TailSpring earlier this year. The couple have a second book called Nora’s Crabby Day in development, which is slated for release in early 2012.

Todd Graveline’s illustrations have appeared in multiple national publications including, Time, Newsweek, TV Guide, Prevention, Psychology Today, The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune and Utne Reader. He also illustrated and designed a book from best-selling business author B.J. Gallagher. “Yes Lives in the Land of No: A Tale of Triumph over Negativity.”
