The Color Monster app now available on the App Store

Stockholm, Sweden – Wombi is proud to announce that its app COLOR MONSTER – LEARN THE COLORS for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch is now available on the App Store. The app teaches children the names of common colors using a hungry but friendly monster. The adorable Color Monster asks the user for different colored fruits, and children feed the monster by dragging the correct fruit to the monster’s mouth. If offered the right fruit, the monster eats it happily and asks for more. But if offered the wrong fruit, the monster spits it out.

“The Color app is our most advanced app so far, where we have taken full advantage of the possibilities of the iPad and iPhone. The animated monster speaks, points with his chubby hands and shows different face expressions. It’s a Talking Tom with an educational twist,” says Markus Wedenborn, developer and Co-Founder of Wombi apps.

“Too many educational apps out there are more or less only books adapted to fit a screen. The Color Monster, on the other hand, could never be anything else than a digital application. It’s our first step trying to create an interactive teacher but with a comical touch,” says Markus Wedenborn.

Color Monster – Learn the colors is available for introduction price $0.99 ($1.99) from the App Store on iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. The app is available in English, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Russian, Japanese and Chinese.
