Currency Banknotes for iPhone Makes Waves in the App Store
Los Angeles, California – Labeled as a “must-have financial utility” by Cool iPhone Apps on September 8, the popular app website approved of the app’s easy user interface and smooth functionality. Cool iPhone Apps also stated that, “Useful and productive apps are always something to keep permanently on your device. Currency Banknotes is exactly this with its many functions that suit everyone whether traveling or not.” Likewise, on September 12, The iPhone App Review commented on the app’s reasonable value, saying that, “The convenience of a dollar app with this much functionality is hard to argue with.”
Similarly, popular travel blog WanderingJustin.com, also published a post featuring the app, and commended the “clever thinking” behind Currency Banknotes. User reviews echoed these statements, and mentioned that on top of its currency converter, the app’s image gallery of banknotes is extremely helpful.
For the most part, Currency Banknotes garnered stellar reviews, along with a few constructive comments along the way. “We are grateful for the attention that we received from the iPhone community,” said TechiXoft CEO John Nicasio. “It’s great to be part of a vocal and opinionated bunch, because they tell us exactly what we’re doing right, and what needs to be changed. We’re actively monitoring feedback from users, to gather insights on what can be improved with the app.”
Currency Banknotes also reached the Finance Top Paid lists in App Stores outside the US, including Canada and Finland, where the app ranked as number 11 and number 5 respectively. Moreover, the app was named as “New and Noteworthy” in Greece.
About Currency Banknotes:
Currency Banknotes is a currency converter app that lets users view currency images. Aside from being able to convert over 150 currencies around the world, people will be able to see paper bill images for each country. The Currency Banknotes app displays a total of nearly 1000 currency images, including rare and hard-to-find banknotes. Users can even zoom in and out of the images to see the paper bills in full detail. All the paper bill images are stored in the app’s wide database, allowing users to browse through the Currency Banknotes gallery even without an Internet connection.
Another distinct feature of the app is its “Top 10 Currencies” tab, in which users will be able to instantly calculate the top 10 currencies of the world, all in one page. Instead of individually crunching the numbers for each of the 10 major currencies, the app simply computes everything with one touch of a button.
Beyond the Finance Category
While Currency Banknotes is officially filed under the Finance category of the App Store, Nicasio believes that the app will fit in well under Travel, Utilities, or even Entertainment. “We have a lot of feedback regarding the usefulness and convenience of Currency Banknotes, but at the same time, we’ve been told the image gallery of the app is also very entertaining. Turns out, people are really fond of viewing different currency images because they provide a glimpse of foreign cultures through their paper bills.”
