Leiden, Netherlands – Didakto is a fun and educational game for school age kids (4-12). The goal of the game is to answer questions from different subjects and levels by dragging the questions to the correct answers. A photo puzzle is used to show if the answers are correct. The game has a simple user interface and plays like a board game. No time pressure, no high scores. Children can play and learn at their own pace and correct themselves.
The player can select from dozens of available questions from subjects such as math, language and geography. “The reactions of children who play Didakto are very enthusiastic. Especially because their own pictures can be used in the game” says Marco Henkes, founder of Synendo. “Playful learning remains a strong concept. Parents appreciate that their children can learn while playing this game and having fun.” Didakto is also used by therapists to help children with autism to improve their language and logic skills.
Didakto is a big success in Synendo’s home country The Netherlands, the app is currently number 1 in Education and number 3 in the Top Paid iPad Apps of the iTunes App Store. “Didakto supports six languages, I hope this promotion helps people in other countries to discover this educational game” says Marco Henkes.
