DistinctDev Expands Its Franchise With Major Releases
Seattle, WA – DistinctDev today announced the release of ‘Skip Day’, the highly-anticipated Section 5 of The Moron Test, while simultaneously launching the iPad version of their flagship title. The team that created one of the most recognizable names in gaming is also debuting their beloved Turtle character as a limited edition plush toy.
The toy reflects the team’s continued focus on bringing The Moron Test to categories beyond gaming. Earlier this year, DistinctDev released ‘Failing in Love’, an animated short starring characters from The Moron Test and watched by millions worldwide.
“Players love and relate to these characters, and we want to foster that connection,” says Berkeley Malagon, President and CEO of DistinctDev. “That drives our exploration of new categories, as well as the design of the game itself.”
While DistinctDev is eyeing opportunities outside of gaming, they remain committed to bringing more great updates to the game, and have recently grown the team to start work on a sequel.
