New York, New York – RetroCalc was released on the iTunes App Store in June to rave reviews, and quickly climbed into the top 100 on the iTunes App Store in over 20 countries. RetroCalc became an instant success with it’s first rate graphics and the ability for users to swipe their fingers across the screen to surf between dozens of HD calculator/background combinations. RetroCalc features high-definition, 3D-rendered calculator designs of beautiful classic “retro-electronica” calculators.
“Everybody has a calculator app. But RetroCalc is one of those apps that you find yourself showing-off to people.”, says Stefan Romeo of Apps in Review. “Yeah it’s got a lot of eye-candy. But isn’t that what you got your iPad for? Beautiful form meets essential function?”
Michael Venn at the popular HotMacApps site adds, “Retrocalc can be used for real work, its not just an eye pleaser but a powerful calculation tool as well. Overall this is a great calculator app for your iPad, it would be silly to choose any other standard calculator app over RetroCalc.”
Each of the included HD calculators inspired by the retro originals was painstakingly re-modeled in ultra-realistic 3D. The result? “This is the coolest calculator app for the iPad. Period.”, writes iPadder. RetroCalc is an app that you see, and you want.
The rave reviews for RetroCalc keep coming in:

These calculators feature memory functions, 17 digit scientific-notation, true order-of-operations ((SQRT(9) 2*5=13) and even alternate audio-feedback sounds. The free version of RetroCalc is limited to 3 different calculator skins, and 3 backgrounds. To download the free version of RetroCalc visit our website.
