Montreal, Canada – Tribal Nova is proud to announce its support of Plan International’s efforts in favor of education in Africa. From now on the company will donate 10% of its revenues from the iLearnWith educational apps to Plan International to help fund ambitious education projects in African countries. Parents using the iLearnWith educational program will not only prepare their child for school but also help other children, thousands of miles away, get a better education. By purchasing the apps, they will make a contribution to building or furnishing schools with classrooms essentials.
Plan invests more in education than in any other program area. In 2009, Plan International trained almost 64 thousand teachers and built or rehabilitated over 8000 child-friendly schools in countries such as Rwanda, Cameroon or Zimbabwe.
“Plan International is doing an outstanding job of helping children get a better future in many developing countries. I have personally donated to Plan for many years and am convinced donations really make a difference in the field. It is going to take a while before we recoup all the investments we are making in the i Learn With program, so 10% of our revenues is a significant sum, but we want to start giving right away. We hope parents will help us grow donations to Plan by buying our apps and spreading the word .” says Pierre le Lann, Co founder of Tribal Nova
Tribal Nova is a leading developer and publisher of educational games for young children across several platforms, including the award winning PBS KIDS PLAY! and CBC Wonderworld online learning programs. The iLearnWith program on iPad and iPhone is a cross curricular game-based learning program that helps prepare children for school, while having fun, one app at a time. The apps have been featured by Apple in New and Noteworthy, What’s Hot and Staff Favorites and have reached the top ten positions in education charts in many countries. They are consistently getting 4 or 5 star ratings from parents and rave reviews from professional educators and bloggers.
“At Tribal Nova we strongly believe education is the key to a better life for children, whether it is building a solid foundation to succeed in school by playing our iPad apps or simply having access to books and pencils in African villages. Parents can now help their children get an early start and also offer the gift of education to less fortunate children.” adds Guillaume Aniorte, Tribal Nova’s other cofounder.
