Pyrosphere Releases Last Fish for the iPhone

Porto, Portugal – Pyrosphere is pleased to announce the release of Last Fish 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch. Last Fish is an action/arcade game about the survival of a tiny fish in toxic water. The minimalist black and white graphics style gives the game a unique underwater atmosphere, while the simple and addictive mechanics provide a captivating gaming experience.

The player moves the fish by tilting the device in the desired direction to guide it towards food and away from the damaging goo that wanders in the field. The fish must also escape from chasing enemies. The field of vision around the fish is directly related to its health: higher health means a wider field of vision, but at a low health it becomes harder to see ahead requiring caution to avoid losing the game.

Each of the 45 levels has a specific objective to complete. The player’s performance at the end of the level is scored, up to 3 stars, adding to the gameplay experience. There is also an arcade mode where the player has to survive as long as possible in an environment that gets more hostile as time passes. Players are able to compete for the highest survival time on 5 different stages with OpenFeint leaderboards.
