Putting a punch into Snakes and Ladders
Oakleigh, Australia – If you thought Snakes and Ladders was fun before, the owner and founder of yianni-software has managed to create a new-age version of the game even more entertaining than the classic game. Setting traps, stunning players and jumping forward are just some of the added features to the latest iPad board game, Laddersnake.
Whilst the original game is timeless, hitting the digital arena has allowed the developers to introduce more exciting additions to the game. The original premise of snakes and ladders is at the heart of the game but this is only the start. Up to 4 players can player and each get 4 bonuses at their disposal to unleash attacks onto their opponents.
Just as he did with the success of his first iPad game Chance! HD, Alex was able to try the game out with his two young boys, given they were within his target audience for the game. “Seeing their reactions as the game evolved was extremely useful and priceless feedback”, Alex adds.
The game is certainly not limited to small kids either; Big kids will find this game entertaining as it brings an additional strategic aspect to the game. Laddersnake allows players to interact with each other in a more compelling way. Players can use their bonuses to knock players back or advance themselves. “The cool part of the game is that players can invoke the bonus either before or after they move their playing piece.”, Alex sums up.
If you find yourself alone one night, Laddersnake can keep you entertained as it allows players to play against the computer players unlike the analog version of the game. The game supports 3 different sized game boards, depending on how much time you have to spare. Laddersnake takes yianni-software up it’s 10th iOS application and 3rd iPad app.
