Xcode Projects – Publish a Book on the App Store – Video Demo Released
Chichester, UK – Independent developer Chris Mayer has announced a step by step video demo to accompany his range of complete Xcode projects for eBook authors. Entitled “It’s That Easy”, the video lasts just 2 minutes – but covers every step in creating a book app for iPad or iPhone – from purchasing the project, to creating the pages, and editing a tiny amount of code. With the end result being a completed app running on an iPad device. These projects are a very affordable way for anyone to digitally publish their book.
Specifically designed to help authors publish their books on iPhone and iPad devices, these projects are ready-made Apps, just waiting for content to be loaded in a choice of either HTML format files or PNG image files. Anyone who can edit a HTML document, or create an image in PNG format can publish a book on iPhone or iPad. Pages can be created in any HTML editor such as Dreamweaver, and may use a variety of fonts and styles, as well as images within the pages, or even be image based pages – with a single PNG file loaded for each page.
* Supports standard HTML format pages, create using any popular webpage editor
* Include a variety of fonts and styles, and show images within your pages
* Loads audio for each page in .m4a, .mp3, or .wav format – for spoken pages or sound effects
* Saves progress through the book
* Flip pages forwards and backwards with the swipe of a finger
* ‘Credits / How To Use’ screen – accessable from an info button on the launch screen
* Heavily commented code – see exactly how it all works
