Diethard Seiferth Releases AroundCal 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch

Mossingen, Germany – Independent developer Diethard Seiferth today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of AroundCal 1.0, his new Task and Time Management App is now available exclusively for the iPhone and iPod touch. AroundCal adds attributes like priority, in progress/completed status, project and voice memo to your iPhone calendar events and is always in sync with the iPhone Calendar App.

AroundCal is built around the iPhone calendar events. It presents a calendar which shows the days of a month, the number of tasks for each day, and a birthday icon for the days containing one or more birthdays. Below the calendar all tasks of the selected day are displayed together with priority, birthday icon and assigned project. Beside the calendar there is a toolbar to switch calendars on and off, add new events or tasks or shrink the calendar to the selected week to have more room for the task list.

The user can add or modify projects for immediate use and someday projects for a later use. Tasks from within the calendar or the someday view can easily be cut or copied and pasted to any day in the calendar. A someday task can also be realized by assigning an event to it. AroundCal uses the original iPhone Event User Interface for adding and modifying events and the iPhone’s Address Book User Interface for birthday events. So a birthday person can directly be called or a mail can be send to him or her. Recurrent events and events with different start and end dates are also supported.
