Vancouver, Canada – Finkly Interactive has released version 2.0 of its highly acclaimed chaos-management game “Fare City: Taxi Mania”. In Fare City the player assumes the role of taxi dispatcher, directing taxis around the streets of various locations in an increasingly manic rush to collect fares. Applauded for the design and production quality, addictive game-play and great music, Fare City: Taxi Mania has received five-star reviews from critics and players alike, and was featured by Apple in “New and Noteworthy”.
Version 2.0 of the game features a new game mode that radically expands the game play. “Crazy Cabs” simplifies the game control allowing the player to focus on the task of delivering fares while at the same time upping the game tempo, leading to truly frenetic action as the game progresses. Loved by the beta testers, Crazy Cabs is set to be a firm favorite with the players and effectively doubles the already extensive gameplay.
“We are really excited by the new game mode”, said Mike Woods, owner of Finkly Interactive. “Fare City already has an enthusiastic base of players and Crazy Cabs gives them so much more gameplay. And it doesn’t stop here. We have a whole series of updates planned for the summer. The next version, which includes a gorgeous new map, has already been submitted to Apple for review.”
