Synium releases iPad versions of MobileFamilyTree and Motocross
Mainz, Germany – The iPad has finally arrived at international customers’ doorsteps and Synium would like to congratulate Apple on the successful product launch! On the occasion of the worldwide availability, Synium extended two of their iPhone applications to utilize the full potential this new device has to offer. MobileFamilyTree, the highly acclaimed companion application to MacFamilyTree, as well as Motocross, an exciting Motocross arcade game are available for the iPad starting today. Updates are free for existing customers.
The iPad’s extended screen resolution and size allow you to much more conveniently explore your family tree, skim through your family history and add or edit your data on the go. All you need is a registered installation of MacFamilyTree on your Mac to transfer your family data and have it available anywhere with your iPad. Any information you gather on your iPad can then be synched back easily to your Mac at home via AirPort / WiFi connection.
MobileFamilyTree is compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch, as well as the iPad. It automatically adjusts screen resolution to the device it’s launched on – if you use it on your iPad, you get the best possible user experience because of the large screen, running it on the iPhone or iPod touch gives you the familiar layout of the previous version. New customers pay the same US$ 4,99 as for the iPhone version. Updates are free for existing customers. A fully licensed version of MacFamilyTree 5.6.4 and newer is required in order to use MobileFamilyTree.
No matter if you’re an experienced player or just caught a bad case of racing fever: you’ll love Motocross on the iPad even more. Motocross will run on iPhone, iPod touch and the iPad. Enjoy the more detailed graphics which, through their higher resolution, give you a far better impression of the landscape that’s flying past. Naturally, the controls were altered to take into account the iPad’s screen size and weight – giving you easy access to the throttle control, the brakes and the nitrous oxide intermix for turbo-charging your bike. The rest is just like before: tilt the iPad in driving direction to lean on the handlebars and tilt to the left for a wheelie over an obstacle.
Four new levels are added each month. Just to make sure you get your regular practice to improve your driving skills. Currently, 72 exciting levels are available, additional levels will follow. Motocross costs US$ 3,99 for new customers. All new levels, as well as the upgrade to the iPad-compatible version are free of charge after the purchase.
