Diethard Seiferth announces FirstThings Time Management App price drop

Mossingen, Germany – Independent developer Diethard Seiferth is offering his FirstThings Time Management App for only $3.99 exclusively for the iPhone and iPod touch. FirstThings is an 4th generation Time Management App based on the books “First Things First” and “The 7 Habits of highly effective people” from Stephen R. Covey.

FirstThings is based on weekly planning and challenges the user to think in roles and weekly goals. In FirstThings, the user starts with defining his Life Code: “What is most important to me?”, “What gives my life meaning?” and “What do I want to be and do in my life?”. Based on a calendar, the user can select a week and assign roles from an expandable role pool. For each weekly role, goals and tasks can be added.

A Task consists of a quality level: urgent, important, etc., and a status: “in process”, “complete” or “incomplete”. The calendar, the week view, the role overview with month/week filter, and the In-App Purchasable journal with planned and real dates are nice planning instruments. The someday view let the user define goals and tasks for later use. A powerful feature in FirstThings is the cut/copy & paste mechanism for tasks: The user can select a task, copy or cut it via the context menue, tap on any day in the calendar or week view, and the task will be inserted there. This can also be done easily from the someday view.
