BloXAttack for iPad – Portable Arts First Head to Head Puzzle Challenge

Livingston, NJ/USA – Portable Arts today is pleased to announce the release of BloXAttack 1.01 for the iPad. BloxAttack is a head to head challenge that involves players trying to clear out their blocks faster than their opponent can clear his/hers.

Blocks are controlled by players selecting which new pieces will appear on their opponents side during the game. If a player spends too much time concentrating on just clearing their own side and not sending pieces to their opponent, they will quickly be overcome with pieces on their own boards. Since there is no limit to the amount of blocks that can be send at a time, players will need all their fingers to keep things moving or risk piling up to the top and loose the game!

Blocks not only fill the top of the stacks (like Tetris), they also flow through stacks to fill in gaps underneath. This feature provides many more options for filling in potential spots on both fields and adds another dimension to the game, since keeping an eye on an opponents field allows players to select the most difficult blocks to send to that field. Each time a player clears a row of blocks, the speed their blocks drop decreases and the rate that the opponents blocks drop increases! This constant speed up and down of blocks makes the game Intense as its a mad rush to clear rows!
