Rejoice Assassin fans, Ezio has now entered the App Store once again. Assassin’s Creed II Discovery has finally re-appeared on the App Store after an unexpectedly release several weeks back, only to be pulled shortly without warning. However, this time, it appears that Ezio is here to stay.
Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed II Discovery – $9.99
I, for one, am a fan of the series, so much that I made sure to complete every single achievement in both Assassin’s Creed games on the Xbox 360. Nerds aside, the series has one of the best storylines of any games I have ever played.
Assassin’s Creed II starts off right where the first one ended, but features a different character than the original. Coming from a multicultural team with different faiths, the game presents an intriguing twist on religion and the origin of man. Although the new release of Assassin’s Creed II Discovery on the iDevice features the same character as the console version, Ezio, it appears to have an entirely different storyline.
Discover an untold chapter from the Assassin’s Creed II storyline. Follow Ezio as he travels to Spain to rescue fellow assassins being held under the guise of the Inquisition, only to uncover a Templar plot to sail west and discover the New World.
Originally being released with a $11.99 pricetag, the actual price has been adjusted to $9.99.
And being a side-scroller with elements similar to that of the soon-to-be-released Mirror’s Edge, Assassin’s Creed II Discovery will feel and play differently than its “more” (although, not entirely) open-world predecessors.
Happy Hunting and Arrivederci!
