Photoscatter in Review – Mass Photo Sharing Made Easy

Everybody likes to share photos. Unfortunately, with all the various social networking and storage sites, one of the biggest problems is sharing said photos with everyone. Thanks to a new app Photoscatter from the folks at Unique Apps, things just got a whole lot easier.

Photoscatter is exactly what it sounds like. It helps you scatter your photos among many of the most popular photo sharing and social networking sites. It’s UI is extremely simple and is probably one of its best features. On launch you have 3 options available to you. Take a photo, choose a photo, and setup. The first 2 are pretty self explanatory. You can use the camera to take pictures on launch or just snag one from one of your albums. The last option is for setting up the app to communicate with various sites. Adding or editing sites for upload to is quite simple. You just select which site you like and enter in the pertinent details.

After taking or selecting photos, you are brought to a screen showing the sites you can share/upload too. From here you select which sites you want to submit too and also have the option of adding titles/info via the “Add Details” button.

Hitting submit then begins the upload process. If you selected a site that you forgot to add info for, you are then prompted to do so. Otherwise you are shown the site with a check mark beside it to show that uploading was a success. The only issue I ever had was some connection problems with Facebook but that could be just as much Facebook’s problem as the Photoscatter’s.

As I said before this app is really simple. Simple and great. For anyone that uses multiple photo sites and is as socially networked as many of us are, they will definitely find this useful.
