Palm Heroes Promo Code Giveaway! (Closed)

review-game-palmheroes-mainTouchMyApps is giving away 10 copies of the game Palm Heroes ($9.99), a fantasy turn-based strategy (TBS) game that delivers countless hours of addiction on your iPhone/iPod Touch. Fans of the popular ‘Heroes of Might & Magic’ series will feel right at home with this deep and engaging TBS, one that will surprise you with just how much content the developers Palm Heroes Team have packed into a mobile game. TouchMyApps writer ChiffaN recently reviewed Palm Heroes and it has quickly become one of his favorites on the iPhone.

To sum it all up, the game is awesome. It is the famous Heroes of Might & Magic in the palm of your hand (hence the name). While for the occasional gamer, it may be a bit difficult to master, anyone who invests the time to understand its mechanics will be rewarded by literally hundreds of hours of gameplay.

To enter for your chance at winning one of the ten promo codes, all you have to do is submit a comment within and/or retweet our message on Twitter. Full contest details can be found after the break. Good luck to all!

Sounds like a great game, strategy games rule, look forward to playing it

  • Trisk3lion

THhs looks really good and i have only heard good from people who played it on Palms devices. We need more games with this high quality on the app store

  • I’ve played the Pocket PC version, and it’s definitely the closest thing there is to a portable HoMM for now. The screen shots looked a bit empty, but I guess that’s livable as long as the game plays well. Definitely looks like a great addition to a strategy gamer’s collection.

  • ed.bambastic

Wow. Looks old school in a good way. Want…

  • Looks good. Hope I win!

  • Nico75

I used to play this in the hayday of PC life. Glad it makes a logical step onto the idevice platform. Hopefuly The ai isnt too predictable (even if challenging)

  • Any game for the iPhone that has a 44 page manual has got to offer a lot of play time. 😉

  • sf49lu

This game looks pretty sweet. The battles seem epic and since you mentioned heroes of might and magic… :)

  • Lauren

I read the review, and must say I am impressed! I love turn based strategy and RPGs so I can’t imagine both of them combined! Seems like a great game, and one that could fill my want of Age of the Empires for the iPhone.

  • darkshinra

    Looks like a fun game!

  • GK

The game looks good! Hope I can get the code!

  • The game is good! I’ve been missing work lately…

  • ErichD

I’m loving the game so far, but I have one major issue: in the Lite version, there is no tutorial (or no mission noted as tutorial).

The “Help” section has some pretty pictures that I can understand with the help of your review, otherwise the pairs don’t appear to mean anything in particular. Zoom? I’m unsure what the need for mega zoom out is, but I’ve nly played on small maps thus far.

There’s also the bit about what do I do? I’m in the first mission of the lie version, an dI can not interact with the opposing player(s?)… or for the life of me figure out how to get my hero over there to the opposing village.

I’ll check the game developer’s site, because I really want to love this game. Perhaps with the full version and its tutorial, I will!

And seriously, when I can get to the meat of the game, It will be sweet!

  • atseng

I would love to win a copy of this game. Heroes of Might and Magic has always been a series that I enjoy playing very much.

  • The screenshots are from version 1.0. They actually redesigned most of empty screenshots in 1.1 and they look great now.

  • Emmanouil

Seems a really interesting game, I wish I win the contest and have the chance to try it ASAP

  • Pookie

Looks like a fun game. I hope to win the contest.

  • Jonathan

I really enjoyed playing Heros of Might and Magic on my PC by in the day (especially the 3rd in the series). If Palm Heroes is anything like it, I will have found my new favorite iPhone game!

  • saltydogg

i downloaded the lite version and Im totally intrigued by the game. Yeah, its a bit complicated (i am not really familiar with these games), but if I won a copy i’d totally invest me some time and enjoy the hell out of Palm Heroes!

  • jasz

Wow this looks really interesting. I’m currently trying out the lite version and am loving it!

  • Mr. Charley

    Looks like a fun game.
And the update seeems like it will make it even better!

  • ErichD

    HOLY SH–!!

OK, in the Lite version, play CrossRoads to get a better feel for the game mechanics.

Double-taping on the castle (when the button in the top right “selects” it) brings you to a whole new screen for production, trading, and management.

WIth your hero selected, holding your finger on them for a little while zooms in then you can drag to the location for movement.

And check the palmheros twitter feed for the link to the iPhone manual (or the trackback at the bottom of these comments)

And yes, I’d LOVE a promo code. This game is rockin’!

  • dang this game seems intense with the in depth game play. but thats the best kind of app. it seems like the only crappy thing is that there is no campaign.

  • I love such games on the desktop. hope to be able to play this soon on the iPhone!

  • PeteS

Sweet graphics, looks like hours of fun at work.

  • Brian Wigington

This game looks to be just what the doctor ordered! Please enter my name in the drawing.
