With 60 000+ apps in a competitive and constantly growing mobile software market and creative panache to back it, Apple’s creation of a stunning window-mounted iPhone advert would have been child’s play. Reminiscent of the old Windows’ Starfield screensaver, apps rush toward the screen from a single point of origin, and at intervals, a single app is highlighted; its name and a short description are then featured for a handful of seconds.
This display was captured by TechCrunch‘s Jason Kincaid outside the Pao Alto flagship Apple store, in California. This hasn’t been spotted yet in other stores, but is probably indicative of a new turn which Apple will take in the advertising of their iDevice. Enjoy!
