WWDC’s Keynote Speech is over – What Do You Think of OS 3.0 and the iPhone 3GS?
Take a look here for a ‘rundown’ of the keynote speech. Quite exciting releases in OSX, OS 3.0 and the iPhone 3GS kept this WWDC’s keynote a real page-scroller. 3rd iPhone rumours will now bring up memories that now can go lie in shallow graves, but as you can see, many of the rumours were spot on.
After the jump is a list of items that did not get mention at WWDC.
What was not mentioned at WWDC:
- Front facing Camera
- Relocated Speaker
- Matte Backing
- OLED screen
- Black Metallic Lining
- HD Video Support
- Apple-TV like behaviour
- Luminous logo
- Improved Ram performance
- Adobe Flash
- 802.11 N Wi-Fi
- FM transmitter
Nevertheless, most of these omissions or no-shows are cosmetic. The core of the iPhone has been substantially upgraded both in hardware and in software. What are your thoughts on the OS 3.0 and iPhone 3GS? Are you happy or disappointed by WWDC’s Keynote?

Hmmm. I expected OLED to make it to the phone, but maybe that was a silly hope. Anyway, stay excited for OS 3.0 – that will likely be the most revolutionary software in the history of handsets.
