Globs promo code Giveaway! (Closed)

globs_promoTouchMyApps is giving away 10 promo codes for Globs, a great new action shooter that is just gaining steam.

Globs is an eye popping action shooter game. Play as Nerdman the geeky biologist who must collect glob eye balls for his scientific research. The globs will quickly get out of hand, so use your blaster to defend yourself against an angry army of green gooey goobers.

With a name like “Globs” and gameplay that is surprisingly fun, it’ll only be a matter of time before the game catches on at the App Store (especially with all the planned updates that should make it even better). To win a copy, simply submit a comment and tell us a game you found at the App Store that completely surprised you (i.e one where you had zero expectations for that turned out to be loads of fun). Winners will be selected randomly and the contest will close April 1th @ 9pm EST.

To double your chances of snagging a code, follow us on Twitter and tweet: ‘Follow @TouchMyApps for #iPhone app reviews and promo code giveaways. Now give me some Globs!’

Thanks for all the comments everyone! Congrats to the following winners for the new action shooter Globs:

Scaratto, SuperPaperSam, PhagoCychotic, @zamzarvideo, Servetovictory, DonBurns99, Ian, Zach, @appsniper, bowgui

  • Met Burra

Oregon Trail took me by surprise. I know you may be thinking, “Why would he think that Oregon Trail isn’t good?” but my friend has it, and told me it wasn’t very good. Then I got it. And I loved it!!!!

  • Zach

    i’d have to say iDracula.
At first it looked like the stupidest game ever and a total waste of money!
But once I got it, I was hooked and couldn’t stop playing, and it actually still is my favorite game!!!

  • dannys95

SlotZ Racer. I did not think something so simple and childish would make me a SlotZ addict. Then we were able to share tracks and it became a favorite.

  • SuperPaperSam

Box Drop is one of my favorite games even today (after weeks of having it) And with the updates planed it will soon hit #1!!!

  • MazdaMan

Strategery took me by surprise. It’s a simplified risk clone. I find myself playing it every day.

  • Jeremy

I bought Crash Bandicoot, thinking it would be very fun, but it turned out to be a complete waste of money.

  • Michael Whitten

I won Blue Defense in a contest (on this website ironically! thanks!) and I didn’t think too much of it, because it seemed quite simple. It’s now one of my favorite games! It’s a lot more complex than it seems.

  • Niklaus

Galcon really suprised me. i thought it couldnt be that deep or awesome but it is!

  • Ian

Space Monkey would be my game of choice. I really didn’t think this game would be that great but I really dug this game. I got stuck on the 3rd to last level and still haven’t finished it. But it was a really fun somewhat challenging game that had me playing it every day for nearly a month.

  • PhagoCychotic

I am entering this with the intention of NOT winning a Globs promo code as I already own the game.

I just wanted to mention an underrated app game that I love–Chop Sushi! I thought it would be just another match-3 clone and it totally is not. It’s quirky and has lots of mini challenges and requires a little strategy and puzzle solving. The animation and style are really out there. The back story has me going WTH but I’m enjoying it nonetheless =)

  • Servetovictory

I have to say Snail Mail really caught me by suprise. It’s well polished, addicting, and lasts a long time! I still play it now.

  • Jade

I think my game would have to be Zombieville. It looked like an incredibly simple and brainless game but turned out to be an incredibly fun game!

  • Mr. Charley

    Azkend is amazing

  • DonBurns99

    I have two.

    First would be Gemmed!
I figured it would just be another boring Match-3 type of game, but it quickly became one of my favorites. It is a strategy game in a Match-3 setting, so much so that while playing you tend to forget it is even a Match-3 to begin with. ^ ^

    Second would be Jabeh!
Still my favorite game on the iDevice, I wasn’t expecting much from this puzzle game that had some Sudoku qualities. It completely caught me off guard and has remained my favorite game since I purchased it in January.

  • Scaratto

Globs looks like one of the best FPS for the iPhone. The graphics look very good and the controls seem to be simple

  • Scaratto

Elemntalmondter TD suprised me. It is unique from other tower defense games, it has good graphics and it is addicting.

  • pitbull

I’d have to say that idracula game! I just figured it was another one of those cheap phone games, and I especially didn’t like the i in front. I mean really, how uncreative can you get. It’s gotten annoying now, what with the imac and the iphone and ipod and ilife and whatnot. Haha but anyways, it was a fun game.

  • jutonik

I got snails, because of how much it reminded me of worms from the computer, but it was a bit of a drag

  • Redstar

That airplane game. It’s alright, but I got bored of it after a day

  • Goldguy

Rss reader! I got it because I heard it was useful, though I had never used it. Turned out to be great, and also how I follow this blog :)

  • bowgui

I thought galcon was going to be great, but I got kind of bored of it.

  • Bessamy

ScribBall. I really like busting the groups of bubbles. Very cool.

  • Zach

Was this contest canceled or something?
    Who were the winners?
(this isn’t another entry into the contest I’m just wondering)
